Release Note - Radioplayer v.8.0.0 build 13 - 25/07/2024

Description

This is the first release of the Radioplayer application for CTV. We are constantly improving the Radioplayer listening experience. In this new application we pick up the style of the future v8 mobile application.

New Features

The features available in this application are:

• Onboarding: initial configurations such as country, consents, and optionally location and favorites must be made before the app can be used.

• Home: is a collector of the user's contunets, this page will feature Recently Listened, Favorites Stations and Podcasts, Local Radios, and recommendations of both Stations and Podcasts.

• Live: in this screen you can benefit from one of the strengths of Radioplayer, the catalog of Stations. You will be able to filter by category or view the main ones. For each station it will be possible to put on play and view the detail.

• Podcasts: as for the Live section we provide the entire catalog of Podcasts. It will be possible to filter by category or view the main ones. For each Podcast it will be possible to view its list of episodes and manage the player.

• Player & Player Bar: manage the playback of content directly from the player bar or from the sections in the detail screen.

• Search: allows you to quickly search for content simultaneously across Stations, Podcasts and episodes.

The newest feature in this version is from from Device Sync. This feature will allow you to synchronise different devices so you can easily share favorites and/or continue playback from another device. The synchronisation is done via the V8 mobile app.
