Release Note (External) - Radioplayer v.7.6.0(78) - 27/07/2023

Description

This version is only for internal testing, primarily of the new Chromecast receiver. The release candidate will be available in a couple of weeks including more bug fixes.

New Features

• Chromecast Receiver: the mobile application is linked to the new chromecast receiver with several bug fixed on HLS streams.

• Now Playing Card: refactoring UI/UX Player Bar including the cover of currently playing content on the left which allow users to consult the Detail page by a tap on the card.

• Firebase Events: the mobile application sent two new analytics events (rp_track_add, rp_track_error) when a user start to listen a new content successfully or with error.

Bug fixed

• The application could automatically start playback with autoplay enabled from settings [iOS]. RPHELPDESK-1183

• Favorites Heart icon could be not sync skipping track from CarPlay NowPlaying screen [iOS]. RPHELPDESK-1154

• Favorites section could be not sync if a service was added to the favorites from the phone before application was started on CarPlay [iOS].

• User can’t go back to the CarPlay apps overview by the physical back button [iOS]. RPHELPDESK-1300

• Now Playing Metadata were not updated on AndroidAuto if the application is killed on the phone [Android]. RPHELPDESK-1287

• Episode playback is not automatically resumed after a call finished [iOS].

Supported OS version

Includes all minor versions of a major version, e.g. 12.0.0_r41 after major version 12.0.0.
