Release Note (External) - Radioplayer v.7.7.2(90/92) - 02/11/2023

Description

7.7.2 will be released on iOS first and then on Android as soon as possible. The reason is that we need more time to fix some remaining wearOS issues to get the app approved by Google.

In this version, we have fixed a mix of critical issues and tickets that have been on the Helpdesk list for a while. A number of bugs discovered by Kineton's testing team have been fixed as well. Especially related to the Alarm function and CarPlay. Finally, we have added a couple of features that Google requires for WearOS.

For the next build, planned for late November, the main focus is to further improve streaming performance and the app's stability in general.

• Fixed an issue where playback would not resume when the app re-connect following a disconnection on Android (this may be related to some user reviews).

• Fixed a problem where the image of the episodes are not displayed into the episode list on CarPlay.

• Fixed an issue for users viewing a A-Z list item for the second time, where it could not be played on CarPlay.

• Fixed an issue where the A-Z list was not displayed if you momentarily disconnected the phone from CarPlay and then re-connected.

• Fixed several other smaller CarPlay issues in build 89 and 90.

• Fixed a problem where the standard placeholder image of Radioplayer was not shown in case of an image error on Android.

• Fixed a crash in the app when the Alarm clock's night mode screen was used with minimum brightness on iOS.

• Fixed a problem where the Date Time selector of the Alarm clock was shown again when selecting a date on Android.

• Fixed an issue where the Alarm clock off button in night mode was initially not shown on iOS.

• Fixed a crash when starting the Alarm clock on Android 14 Beta.

Supported OS version

Includes all minor versions of a major version, e.g. 12.0.0_r41 after major version 12.0.0.
